This kangaroo was RIGHT THERE! They are usually at the far end of the area, but this one decided that he liked the grass in the center of the display. Kaitrin, of course, tried to touch him and the keeper stopped her just in time.
These are the new addition - Polar Bears from Pittsburgh. The kids got to watch the two of them wrestle in the water and then watched from below as they played with blue beach balls. Their paws are huge!
And like every Sunday, we fed the birds. Except this time the kids were delighted by the fact that they saw two of them poop...the joys of childhood.
I assumed, by the commercial, that the Moon Dough was a better product than the Moon Sand. I seemed to hold together better and wouldn't get all over the place. Well, I was wrong! It is still the same nasty, crumbly stuff that I will have to vacuum up over and over again. I need to just stick with play dough and be done with it!
