Snorkels!
Trying out their new snorkels in the bathtub! Jacob did very well and even stuck his whole head in the water (amazing for those of you who have seen how terrified he is of water). Kaitrin, as usual, just went for it...head under, breathing with the tube and everything.

Survivor Kickoff Party!
We had a Survivor Kickoff Party with Tropical Smoothies, Popcorn Shrimp, Calamari, Pineapple, Strawberries and Banana Cream Pie!
Pizza Pull-a-part Bread
This is like Monkey Bread but a dinner version. Take a container of Pillsbury pizza dough and cut it into small squares. Flatten each square and wrap it around one piece of pepperoni and a small cube of mozzarella cheese. Line a sprayed bundt pan and bake at 375 for 35 minutes. Turn it out on a cutting board, heat up some marinara sauce for dipping and enjoy!
3rd Grade Valentine's Day Box
So...instead of the pink and red shoe box, this year we were given a challenge by 3rd grade Mr. D! Build a Valentine's Box with one simple machine: an inclined plane, a pulley or wheel and axle. Below is Jacob's Lego pulley and shim catapult! Later, we covered the pink box with foil so it wasn't so "girly".
Date Night with the Kids
After seeing Journey 2, we went to Cap City for dessert. The kids insisted on Lava Cakes with Ice Cream. These suckers show up to the table in latte cups! That's a lot of chocolate...
